RisingStars Philippines is a televised singing talent competition that will air Nationwide on the TV5 network during evening primetime starting February 28, 2015. This nationwide talent show takes auditions and audience participation ‘mobile’ on smartphones and singing stations nationwide.

To enter the competition audition can be done online using a laptop or smartphone or visiting the Singing Station at the biggest Malls all around the Philippines. A series of auditions and regional contests were held since last year in different provinces and cities to find the best-of-the-best talents to represent their home areas.

Mobile Platform & Contest Qualifications

The contest is open to amateur and professional singers, 13 years old and above. Filipino citizen or any nationality with legal residence in the Philippines.

RisingStars’ unique platform is the first to take auditions and the opportunity to be on air to everyone’s hands (turning the smartphone into a centrally connected karaoke machine!) adding vibrant social media action as friends and fans vote.

RisingStars is going to find the talents –even from the furthermost corners of the Philippines –they don’t need to travel for audition, don’t need to queue long - with our mobile technology RisingStars will reach out hundreds of thousands talents.

Whilst the popular mall shows are the first line of battlefields that take initial action to all corners of the Philippines, the show takes talents, creativity and entertainment to the studio as the contest progresses to its final stages, following the action and score on the TV screen and online.
